Here you will learn how to set up ManyChat widgets on your Shopify website. You can use all our widgets in your store: Customer Chat, SMS widget, Pop-ups, Slide-ins, Bar, Buttons, Checkboxes, etc.
Should you want to use the Customer Chat Growth Tool in your store - follow these simple steps:
- Connect our integration with Shopify. Learn more about how to do this here.
- Create your Customer Chat in ManyChat and do all the basic setup for the opt-in actions. Then, just activate the widget and it will automatically show up on Shopify.
- If you want to hide the widget or show it on certain pages only, use Hide on these pages/Only show on these pages Visibility settings for this.
- Check that everything is working according to the setup.

Q: How can I set up a popup that will show when customers click the Add to Cart button and create their cart?
A: Choose the Modal widget and find the setting 'When does it display' in the Initial State tab - you will see an option 'When clicking to "Add to Cart" button'. You can find more info on the Shopify Abandoned Cart feature here.
NOTE: If you use additional apps for changing your Shopify store's design that change the classic Add to Cart button, our widget may not work. In some cases, we can't support some apps' Add to Cart button. To check it, activate your widget that appears when someone clicks to Add to Cart button, open your store in Incognito mode of your browser and check whether you will see the pop-up when you click the Add to Cart button.
